We believe everyone can dance, it's just all about picking a style and song to suit you. Our professionally trained teachers are experts at working with couples of all ages and abilities, and they can help anyone find their inner sparkle on the dance floor!

How does Go-firstdance work?

We offer a very friendly service, and pride ourselves on creating the first dance couples have always dreamed of. From a classic waltz to bringing the house down with a hip hop routine, we'll get you both dancing with confidence.

We recommend our five-hour package for a really fabulous first dance. We also offer taster lessons so you can see how we work - but remember, practice makes perfect!

What will our dance teacher be like?

Our team are all trained choreographers, and have been hand picked for their abilities to work with wedding couples on their first dance. They are fun and friendly and will gently guide you through your routine, working to a level that suits you.

When do we need to book?

We recommend you book your lessons as early as possible, to make sure we have a teacher available in your area. Allow for one lesson a week in the lead up to your wedding. Our team will work with you when you book to find out how best to split your lessons.

Where do the lessons take place?

Your dance lessons will take place in your home, or in a space that you have arranged. You don't have to have a mansion - just enough space to make a couple of turns.

How many lessons should we book?

We recommend our five-hour package to start with. Some couples like to condense their lessons into the four weeks before the wedding, but we can work with you to schedule times to suit you.

Do we have to practice?

Of course! Practice makes perfect, and we recommend you rehearse once a day in the lead up to the wedding... it will be worth it!

How do we choose our song and style of dance?

This is the fun bit, and we recommend you choose something that is personal to you. Whether you want classical romance or funky Hip Hop, our team are on hand to help if you can't make a decision. We love it when couples choose something completely different. It's great to make a splash and give guests something to remember.

Do we need to know how to dance?

No! We can teach you everything you need to know. Our teachers are professionally trained and will help you find your rhythm.

How do we pay for our wedding dance lessons?

We'll take a deposit to secure your booking. Then we'll invoice you after your lesson shedule is agreed. We'll need full payment before your first lesson.
