Pop Video Extravaganza, 20 pop videos 800 guests, 1 amazing day

The Challenge

To produce a pop video experience on a grand scale for 800 guests. Our challenge was to film 20 simultaneous pop videos in 3 hours, complete with set, costume, make up and lighting. Then to deliver the edits in time for the evening MTV style awards ceremony, hosted by Vernon Kay, and with Girls Aloud as the surprise guests.

The Solution

• Produce creative concepts and formats
• Plan logistics for simultaneous pop video shoots in and around Birmingham NEC
• Supply the delivery team of over 150 production personnel including: camera crew, directors, choreographers, production assistants, make up artists, stylists, and event managers
• Produce training DVDs for all personnel
• Design all sets and lighting plans
• Storyboard, format and script shoots
• Supply studio equipment
• Install and manage edit suite on site
• Full bar, catering, make up, costume and green room in each studio
• Full length edits delivered on a compilation DVD after the event
